- Being raised in an Air Force family gave me an introduction to diverse cultures and the flexibility to work with people of various backgrounds to include Japanese, Polynesian, Northerners, Easterners and even a few Southerners!

- Blessed with a marriage of 30 years to husband, Keith Rushing.
